signals … 瞬息, Para Site, 2023

Signals was a three chapter exhibition curated by Billy Tang and Celia Ho at Para Site Hong Kong over six months in 2023 centered around temporality

For the exhibition, the wall text for each chapter is printed in three different layers of vinyl mounted directly on top of each other at different moments over the course of 6 month periodThe first chapter was cut black vinyl text mounted on the white wall in March 2023; the second chapter, composed of cut white vinyl text on top of a large black vinyl sheet, was mounted 2 months later in June 2023; and the third chapter, cut black vinyl text on top of a large fluorescent red vinyl sheet, was mounted another 2 months later in August 2023

All text is typeset in Helvetica medium and Lan Ting Hei and printed with cut and sheet vinyl in white, black and fluorescent red
